spotlight on!

The NSO shines a spotlight on the next generation of musicians! Through the NSO’s Spotlight On! program, we invite student ensembles to perform in the Algoma Lobby, FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre, for 30 – 40 minutes before NSO concerts, and during the 20-minute intermission. Since its inception the Spotlight On! initiative has showcased many talented student ensembles from secondary schools across the region, Brock University’s Department of Music, Ridley College, the Niagara Youth Orchestra, as well as recent graduates just beginning their careers. Spotlight On! is popular with the NSO audience and offers a great opportunity for students to perform in public. To showcase your students, complete an application and submit it by email, fax, or mail. For any further questions, contact us directly.
